ePrime Skin Rejuvenation from Syneron

About the ePrime

ePrime is the world’s first aesthetic device that delivers controlled energy into the target tissue to stimulate natural production of new collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. In contrast to traditional energy based devices whose results are centered primarily on ‘tightening’, ePrime breaks new ground in aesthetics as the only cosmetic device to achieve considerable volumetric improvement, restoration of facial topography and enhanced skin quality and tone.

A Different Kind of Rejuvenation

Individuals today desire dramatic face-lift results yet most can’t afford to compromise the weeks or even months of downtime. Laser and light based treatments currently stands as the non-surgical alternative to correct early signs of aging but they too come with limitations as both options predominantly address superficial skin problems such as brown spots, fine lines and skin tightening. ePrime would be the first of it’s kind that’s clinically proven to reverse the the signs of aging through volumetric enhancement - preserving the plumpness and suppleness that progressively is lost with time. In addition ePrime is one of the few treatments safe for all kinds of skin whereas laser and even light sources may not be recommended for skin of color due to possible risk of skin discolorations.

ePrime delivers bi-polar radio-frequency energy “directly” into the target tissue using insulated microneedles. The needles are insulated up to the tip to make certain the energy is only delivered where it needs to be, bypassing thermal injury to the skin’s surface. The targeted treatment stimulates the skin’s natural healing response resulting in regrowth of new collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid naturally reestablish volume as well as significant improvement in elasticity and overall skin quality.

Treatment Process

The procedure typically takes less than 60 minutes and this includes the prep time for the local anesthesia used during treatment. One treatment is usually enough to achieve the desired results and since a local anesthesia is required, the level of discomfort is very manageable. Full results will not be visible for 6 months, but the patient can expect to start seeing results in 6 to 8 weeks following the procedure.

Research and Side Effects

In clinical trials, there have been extremely low incidences of hyper or hypo pigmentation. Residual swelling and occasional bruising may occur depending on the patient but should subside after a few days. Some skin conditions (such as eczema) may prohibit patients from receiving the treatment. Consult your practioner to determine if ePrime is right for you. ePrime has an excellent safety record and treatment is well-tolerated. Because ePrime employs radio-frequency energy, complications seen with traditional laser or light based devices do not apply and are significantly reduced. In addition, ePrime’s Intelligent Feedback System (IFS) precisely manages delivery of energy so that maximum therapeutic goals are reached with unsafe levels.

Pricing Information

The price for a single ePrime treatment session will differ based on where you live and local cost of living. It will typically range between $3000 and $5000 though.
