The best thing to do is to consult with a physician. There are a wide range of options for patients who want to avoid surgery, however your doctor can have an in-person consultation with you and discuss your options then.

It is important to go to a physician who is knowledgeable about the skin, preferably a dermatologist or a plastic surgeon. These are the people who can consult with you on the latest developments in our field and give you a wider range of treatment options.

Really that is the job of your physician. Your job is to explain your goals for your treatment, the things you would like to improve, and communicate with your doctor. They will then have the information they need to craft a treatment plan for you. The wide range of choices available just makes it more likely you will be happy with your result.
